The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Moche, ask the driver or locals for directions to La Huaca de la Luna, as it is a well-known site. You can also take a mototaxi from the Moche bus stop to La Huaca de la Luna, which will cost around 5-10 soles.

If you are already in Trujillo, you can also take a mototaxi directly to La Huaca de la Luna. Simply flag down a mototaxi, and inform the driver of your destination. It’s important to agree on the fare beforehand; it should be around 15-20 soles. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to walk, you can start from the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo. Head north on Av. Pardo until you reach Av. Huamán, then turn left. Continue walking straight until you reach the Moche district. Keep walking towards Carr. Campiña de Moche; it will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared with water and sun protection.
