Walking
From Chan Chan, locate the nearest main road, Avenida Fátima. Head east on Avenida Fátima until you reach the intersection with Avenida José de la Vega. Continue walking straight; you will pass local shops and eateries. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on Avenida José de la Vega, which will lead you towards Moche. Keep walking for another 10 minutes until you see signs for La Huaca de la Luna.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Chan Chan, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Fátima. Look for a bus heading towards Moche. The fare is typically around 1 to 2 soles. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to go to La Huaca de la Luna. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to La Huaca de la Luna and walk a short distance following the signs to the archaeological site.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Chan Chan. After securing your bike, head east on Avenida Fátima towards Avenida José de la Vega. Follow the same route as if walking, but cycling will reduce your travel time to about 15 minutes. Upon arriving at the site, there are usually designated areas to park your bicycle safely.
