Walking
Start at the main square in Chan Chan, known as Plaza de Armas. From there, head northwest on Av. La Libertad. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Av. Huanchaco. Turn left onto Av. Huanchaco and continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs directing towards Ruinas Chan Chan. The entrance will be on your right, located at Ciudadela Gran Chimu.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one at various locations in Chan Chan. From Plaza de Armas, cycle northwest on Av. La Libertad for about 1 kilometer, then turn left onto Av. Huanchaco. Continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll find Ruinas Chan Chan on your right. Ensure you follow local traffic rules and wear a helmet for safety.

Public Transport (Bus)
Take a local bus heading towards Huanchaco from the bus stop near the Plaza de Armas. Buses frequently run and cost around 1-2 Soles (approximately $0.30 - $0.60). Inform the driver you need to stop at Ciudadela Gran Chimu, which is the closest bus stop to Ruinas Chan Chan. Once you disembark, walk about 200 meters towards the entrance located on your right.
