Getting There

    From the central area of Chan Chan, head south on Avenida Santa, which will lead you towards the main entrance of the archaeological site. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida Los Incas. Turn left onto Avenida Los Incas and walk for another 10 minutes. You will see signs directing you to Ruinas Chan Chan. The entrance is located at Ciudadela Gran Chimu, Huanchaco 13000.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Chan Chan towards Ruinas Chan Chan. Start at Avenida Santa and head south. After about 15 minutes, turn left onto Avenida Los Incas, and continue cycling for another 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs to Ruinas Chan Chan. The entrance is located at Ciudadela Gran Chimu, Huanchaco 13000. Note that you may need to lock your bicycle outside the site.
