If you are driving from Tumbes city, head southeast on Av. José de la Torre Ugarte. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Av. Tumbes. Turn left onto Av. Tumbes and continue for about 2.5 km until you reach the junction with the Pan-American Highway (Carretera Panamericana). Merge onto the Pan-American Highway heading south and drive for approximately 26 km. Look for the signs directing you to 'Reserva Nacional de Tumbes' and take the exit toward 'Caserio La Angostura'. Follow the road signs until you reach the entrance of the reserve, located at 5MQH+PFP, Caserio La Angostura. Parking is available at the reserve entrance.

To reach Reserva Nacional de Tumbes via public transportation, start at the 'Plaza de Armas' in Tumbes. Look for a local bus or combi (minibus) that is headed toward 'Caserio La Angostura' or 'La Palma'. The fare is approximately 3-5 soles. The journey will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in 'Caserio La Angostura,' ask the driver or locals for directions to the reserve. The entrance is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Be prepared for a small entrance fee, which is usually around 10 soles per person.

For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Tumbes city to Reserva Nacional de Tumbes. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 40-60 soles for a one-way trip. The taxi ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Provide the driver with the location address: 5MQH+PFP, Caserio La Angostura. Upon arrival, confirm the fare before exiting the taxi.
