If you are traveling by private car, start from Cotabato City. Head south on the Cotabato-Gen. Santos Road (also known as the National Highway). Follow the road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Buluan. Watch for signs indicating Buluan Lake; there are several local markers along the route. Once in Buluan, turn onto the access road leading to the lake, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the main highway. The lake is well-signposted, and you can follow the signs to reach the parking area near the lake.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Buluan Lake using public transportation, first make your way to the bus terminal in Cotabato City. Look for buses headed to General Santos City, as many of them will pass through Buluan. The bus fare is typically around PHP 50-70 and the journey takes about 1 hour. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Buluan. Once you arrive in Buluan, you may need to take a tricycle or a local jeepney to reach the lake itself, which is about a 10-minute ride from the town center. Expect to pay around PHP 20-30 for the tricycle.
