By Car
If you are driving, head towards Camalig, Albay. From Legazpi City, take the Maharlika Highway (AH26) heading north. After approximately 14 km, take the exit towards Camalig. Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach the Poblacion area. Look for the signposts directing you to Sumlang Lake, which is located at 5MHC+HJH, Poblacion, Camalig, Albay. Parking is available at the site.
By Public Transportation (Bus)
From Legazpi City, take a bus heading to Camalig. Buses regularly depart from the Legazpi Grand Central Terminal. The fare is approximately PHP 30-50, and the journey takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Camalig, you can take a tricycle to Sumlang Lake for about PHP 20-30. The tricycle ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If you are already in Camalig, you can easily hire a tricycle to take you to Sumlang Lake. The fare is usually around PHP 20-30, and the ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Just tell the driver you are going to Sumlang Lake, and they will know the way.
By Jeepney
From Legazpi City, you can also take a jeepney bound for Camalig. Jeepneys leave from various points in the city, and the fare is around PHP 25. Once you reach the town center of Camalig, you can transfer to a tricycle for the final leg of your journey to Sumlang Lake.
