Car
If you're starting from Tacloban City, drive southeast on Maharlika Highway (AH26) towards the town of Hernani, Eastern Samar. The journey is approximately 120 kilometers and takes around 3-4 hours, depending on traffic. Once in Hernani, follow the signs to Ginduyanan Cove. You may need to ask locals for precise directions as the cove is not heavily commercialized.
Bus
From Tacloban City, you can take a bus bound for Guiuan or Borongan. Buses leave from the Tacloban Grand Terminal. The fare is approximately PHP 150-200 and the journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at Hernani, disembark at the town center. From there, you can take a tricycle or habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) to Ginduyanan Cove. The ride should cost around PHP 50-100 and take about 10-15 minutes.
Tricycle
If you are already in Hernani town, you can hire a tricycle to take you directly to Ginduyanan Cove. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should range from PHP 100-200 depending on your starting point within Hernani. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
