If you are traveling by car, start from Tacloban City, the capital of Leyte. Drive towards the San Juanico Bridge and cross over to Samar. Continue on the Maharlika Highway (AH26) heading northwest. Follow the signs for Calbayog City. Once you reach Calbayog City, look for the intersection near the Calbayog City Hall and turn onto the road leading to Barangay Guinogo-an. Drive on this road until you reach the location of Guinogo-an Cave at the coordinates 12.1583004, 124.5140637. Parking may be available near the cave entrance.

For those using public transportation, start your journey at the Tacloban City Bus Terminal. Take a bus heading to Calbayog City. The bus ride typically takes around 3-4 hours, and fares range from 150-200 PHP. Once you arrive in Calbayog City, you can hire a local tricycle or jeepney to take you to Barangay Guinogo-an. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they know the way to Guinogo-an Cave, and expect to pay around 50-100 PHP for the tricycle fare. After reaching the barangay, you may need to walk a short distance to the cave entrance.
