If you are driving from Iloilo City, take the Iloilo-Capiz Road (also known as the Panay-Guimaras Road) heading north. Continue along this road for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the town of Carles. Once in Carles, follow signs leading to the municipal pier where you can park your vehicle. From the pier, you will need to take a boat to Cabugao Gamay. The boat ride typically takes around 30 minutes and costs approximately 100-150 PHP per person.

From Iloilo City, head to the Ceres Bus Terminal and take a bus bound for Carles. The travel time is around 3-4 hours, and the fare is usually between 150-200 PHP. You will find a boat that can take you to Cabugao Gamay; the boat ride lasts about 30 minutes and costs around 100-150 PHP per person.
Motorcycle/Tricycle
If you are in Carles and prefer a quicker trip to the pier, you can hire a motorcycle (habal-habal) or take a tricycle to the municipal pier. The fare for this short trip is approximately 50-100 PHP depending on your negotiation skills and the distance.
