Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are already in the heart of Main City, one of the best ways to get to Brama Wyżynna is by walking. From the Main Town Hall (Ratusz Głównego Miasta), head east on Długa Street (Long Street) for about 400 meters. As you walk, you will pass the famous Neptune Fountain on your left. Continue straight until you reach the end of Długa Street, where it meets Długi Targ (Long Market). Turn left onto Długi Targ and walk another 200 meters until you reach the Green Gate (Zielona Brama) on your right. From the Green Gate, continue walking along Wały Jagiellońskie Street for about 300 meters. Brama Wyżynna will be on your left at Wały Jagiellońskie 2A. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Długi Targ'. From there, take the tram line 3 or 5 towards 'Gdańsk Zaspa'. After two stops, get off at 'Bomstera' and walk for about 5 minutes to reach Brama Wyżynna. To use the tram, you will need to purchase a ticket. A single journey ticket costs around 3.80 PLN. Tickets can be bought from ticket machines or kiosks near the tram stop.
