Car
If you are driving, start from Zakopane, which is the closest city to Dolina Gąsienicowa. Head north on ul. Krupówki, then continue onto ul. Kasprowicza. Follow the signs to the Tatra National Park entrance. Once you reach the entrance, you will need to park your car at one of the designated parking areas. Note that there is a parking fee, typically around 30 PLN per day. After parking, head towards the trailhead located at the top of ul. Księdza Józefa Stolarczyka, where you will find the blue trail (Szlak niebieski) that leads directly to Dolina Gąsienicowa.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Zakopane to Kuźnice, which is the starting point for the hike to Dolina Gąsienicowa. Buses run frequently, and tickets cost about 4-6 PLN per person. Once you arrive at Kuźnice, follow the signs towards the blue trail (Szlak niebieski). The hike from Kuźnice to Dolina Gąsienicowa takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water and snacks for the journey.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Zakopane to Kuźnice for a more direct route. The taxi fare can range from 50 to 70 PLN, depending on traffic and the taxi company. Once you arrive at Kuźnice, proceed to the blue trail (Szlak niebieski) to begin your hike to Dolina Gąsienicowa.
