Experience Siklawica Waterfall

Getting There

  • Car

    If you are starting from Zakopane, drive to the main street (Krupówki) and follow the signs for 'Droga do Morskiego Oka'. This road will take you towards the Tatra National Park. After approximately 7 km, you will reach the parking area at Palenica Białczańska. Note that there is a parking fee of around 30 PLN for a full day. From the parking lot, you can either walk or take a shuttle bus to the entrance of the national park.

  • Public Transportation

    From Zakopane, you can take a local bus (line 11) towards Morskie Oko. The bus will take you to the Palenica Białczańska parking area. The bus fare is about 15 PLN one way. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the entrance of the Tatra National Park.

  • Hiking

    Once you reach Palenica Białczańska, you will need to hike to Siklawica Waterfall. Follow the marked trail that leads towards Morskie Oko. After approximately 1.5 km, you will come across a fork in the trail; take the left path that leads towards the Siklawica Waterfall. The hike will take around 30-40 minutes, and the trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry water.

  • Return

    To return to Zakopane, simply retrace your steps to Palenica Białczańska. If you took the shuttle bus, wait for it at the designated bus stop near the parking area. If you drove, follow the same road back to Zakopane.
