Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Zakopane. From the center of Zakopane, head northeast on ul. Krupówki (the main street). Follow signs for Droga Oswalda Balzera (also known as Route 960). Continue on this road for about 4 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the start of the hiking trail. Make sure to park in designated areas as there may be fees (around 20-30 PLN for a day). From the parking area, follow the blue hiking trail (Szlak pieszy niebieski) which leads directly to Nowa Roztoka. The hike will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from the main bus station in Zakopane. Look for buses heading towards Morskie Oko or Palenica Białczańska; they usually stop at the entrance to the Tatra National Park. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes and costs approximately 10-15 PLN. Once you arrive at the bus stop near Palenica Białczańska, you’ll need to walk to the start of the blue hiking trail (Szlak pieszy niebieski). The walk from the bus stop to the trailhead takes around 15 minutes. Follow the blue trail, and you'll reach Nowa Roztoka in about 1-2 hours.
