Car
If you are driving, start your journey from Zakopane. Head east on ul. Krupówki, then take the road towards the Tatra National Park (Tatrzański Park Narodowy). Follow signs for 'Polana Strążyska'. There are parking facilities near the entrance to the park, but please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 10-20 PLN depending on the season.
Public Transportation
From Zakopane, take a local bus or taxi to the entrance of Tatra National Park. Buses frequently run from the main bus station in Zakopane to various points in the park. You can ask for the bus going to 'Polana Strążyska' or the nearest stop to it. The bus fare will usually be around 5-10 PLN. Once you arrive at the stop, follow the marked trails towards Polana Strążyska, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking from Park Entrance
If you arrive at the Tatra National Park entrance by car or public transport, follow the signs for Polana Strążyska. The path is well-marked and takes about 30-45 minutes to walk. The trail is relatively easy and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, making it a pleasant hike.
