Car
From the center of Albufeira, head east on Avenida da Liberdade towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue on this road as it becomes Rua 25 de Abril. After about 1 km, take the exit towards N395, then merge onto N395. Continue on N395 for approximately 3 km. Take the exit towards Albufeira, and follow the signs to Praia do Forte de S.João. You should find parking options nearby; be aware that some parking areas may require a fee.

From Albufeira's main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário), board the bus heading towards Praia da Oura. The journey takes around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Praia da Oura' stop. From there, walk east along the beachfront promenade for about 10 minutes. You will reach Praia do Forte de S.João after passing a few beach bars and restaurants. The bus fare is approximately €2-3.
