Walking
From the city center of Faro, head to the main street, Avenida da República. Walk straight until you reach the bus terminal, known as Terminal Rodoviário. From the terminal, take Bus 22 towards Quarteira. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Quarteira, get off at the last stop. From there, walk towards the coast along Avenida Infante de Sagres. Continue walking until you see the Farol de Quarteira, which is a prominent lighthouse visible from the promenade.

To get to the Farol de Quarteira, start at Faro's city center and make your way to the Terminal Rodoviário. Take Bus 22 to Quarteira, which runs regularly. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Quarteira stop. From the bus stop, walk straight towards the beach, following the signs for the coast. You will find the Farol de Quarteira along the beachfront, a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
