Bus
From Aveiro city center, head to the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Aveiro). Look for the bus that goes to São Félix da Marinha. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at São Félix da Marinha, disembark at the stop closest to Praia da Granja. From there, walk approximately 5-10 minutes towards the beach, following signs that lead you to the coast.
Train
Make your way to the Aveiro train station (Estação de Aveiro). Board a train heading towards Porto. Get off at the Estação de São Félix da Marinha. From the station, it is about a 15-minute walk to Praia da Granja. Exit the train station, turn left, and follow the road towards the beach, keeping an eye out for directional signs to Praia da Granja.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in the Aveiro city center. Head towards the coastline, following the bike paths that lead to São Félix da Marinha. The ride will take around 40 minutes. Once you reach São Félix da Marinha, follow the signs to Praia da Granja, which is along the coast.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to Praia da Granja from Aveiro. Start from Praça do Peixe (the main square), head towards the waterfront, and follow the coast southwards for about 6 kilometers. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, but the scenic views of the coastline are worth it!
