Getting There

  • Metro

    Start your journey at any metro station in Porto. Take Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos or Line C (Green Line) towards Estádio do Dragão. Change at Trindade station to Line D (Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovídio. Your destination is the Jardim do Morro station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the river.

  • Walking

    From Jardim do Morro station, walk down the hill towards the river Douro. Follow the path along the riverbank for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the Dom Luís I Bridge. Cross the bridge on the upper deck, enjoying the views of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the bridge.

  • Walking

    At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua da Praia. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Praia da Madalena. The beach will be on your right, and you will see signs indicating your arrival at R. do Mar 450, 4405-760 Madalena.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from Jardim do Morro, you can take bus number 902 from the stop right outside the metro station. The bus goes directly to the beach area. Get off at the 'Praia da Madalena' stop, which is close to R. do Mar 450.
