From any location in Beira Alta, head towards the A1 highway, following signs for Lisbon. Continue on the A1 for approximately 2.5 hours until you reach the Lisbon exit. Once in Lisbon, follow signs for the city center (Centro). Once in the city, navigate to R. de Santa Cruz do Castelo. There is limited parking near the castle, so it's advisable to park in a nearby parking garage such as the Parque de Estacionamento Praça da Figueira, which is a 10-minute walk away.

Begin your journey at the closest train station in Beira Alta, and take a train towards Lisbon. The main train station in Lisbon is called Santa Apolónia. From Santa Apolónia, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) to the castle or take a taxi. If walking, head southwest on Av. Infante Dom Henrique, then turn left onto Rua da Graça, and follow the signs to Castelo de São Jorge.
