From Braga, head to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Braga, located at Avenida da Liberdade. You can walk there from the city center or take a local taxi if needed. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket for Ponte de Lima. Buses to Ponte de Lima run regularly, usually around every hour. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. When you arrive at the Ponte de Lima bus station, exit the station and follow the signs to the town center. You can walk to the iconic Ponte de Lima bridge, which is approximately a 10-minute walk straight ahead.

At the Braga train station, located on Avenida da Liberdade, take a train heading towards Viana do Castelo. Once you arrive at Viana do Castelo, exit the train station and head to the nearby bus station (Câmara Municipal) to catch a bus to Ponte de Lima. The bus ride from Viana do Castelo to Ponte de Lima will take about 30 minutes. After arriving in Ponte de Lima, walk towards the town center and you'll reach the bridge within 10-15 minutes.
