If you are in the center of Bragança, start at Praça da Sé, the main square. From the square, head east on Rua da Sé until you reach the intersection with Rua de São João. Turn left onto Rua de São João and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Follow this avenue for about 700 meters. You will see the Castle Bragança on your right as you approach Rua Dom João V. The entrance is located at R. Dom João V 62.

From the bus station in Bragança, take the local bus line that goes towards the city center. Get off at the main stop near Praça da Sé. From there, follow the walking directions outlined above to reach Castle Bragança. The bus ride should take around 10 minutes, and then it's a short walk from the square.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from Praça da Sé and head east on Rua da Sé. After a short distance, turn left onto Rua de São João and continue to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. As you ride along, keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Castle Bragança. It is about a 10-minute ride from the square.
