Bus
From Caldas da Rainha, head to the main bus station, which is located at Avenida 1 de Maio. Look for buses heading towards Santa Cruz. The bus line you want is the 'Rodotejo' bus service. Buses typically run every hour, so check the timetable for the next departure. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Santa Cruz, disembark at the Santa Cruz stop, and from there, it's a short walk to the beach.

Walking
If you find yourself in the center of Caldas da Rainha, start at Praça da República. Walk west on Rua de José Malhoa until you reach the intersection with Avenida da Liberdade. Turn left and continue straight until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, take the aforementioned bus to Santa Cruz. After getting off at Santa Cruz, follow the signs to the beach, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you’re up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle in Caldas da Rainha. Head towards the cycle path that leads out of the city towards Santa Cruz. The route is approximately 12 km and will take about an hour. Follow the signs towards Santa Cruz, and enjoy the scenic ride. Upon reaching Santa Cruz, follow the coastal path to reach the beach.
