From the center of Caldas da Rainha, head south on Rua de Camões toward Praça da Fruta. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida 1 de Maio and walk for another 400 meters. You will see a sign directing you towards Óbidos. Follow the signs leading you to the bus station located on Avenida das Descobertas. At the bus station, take the bus towards Óbidos, which runs regularly throughout the day.

Once you arrive at the Óbidos bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the main entrance of Óbidos. You will see the castle walls to your left. Continue walking straight along Rua da Rainha until you reach the main square, Praça de Santa Maria. From there, turn right onto Rua Josefa de Óbidos, and you will find Porta da Vila at the end of the street, marking the entrance to the medieval town.
