Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Caldas da Rainha, head east on Rua do Comércio towards Praça da República. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida José Faria. Follow this road for about 1.5 km until you reach the train station (Estação de Caldas da Rainha). From the train station, board a train towards Fátima. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Fátima train station, exit and head south on Rua de São João towards Avenida D. José Alves Correia da Silva. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Cova de Iria. Continue walking for another 1 km until you reach Azinheira Grande, which will be on your right.

    From Caldas da Rainha, take the local bus service that operates towards Fátima. You can catch the bus from the main bus station located on Avenida 1º de Maio. Buses to Fátima run frequently, approximately every hour. The bus journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Fátima bus station, exit and walk south along Avenida D. José Alves Correia da Silva. After about 1 km, turn left onto Cova de Iria. Continue for another 500 meters, and you will find Azinheira Grande on your right.
