Metro
From Cascais, walk to the Cascais train station located at Avenida 25 de Abril. Board the train towards Lisbon (Cais do Sodré). After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Cais do Sodré station. Exit the station and head to the nearby Terreiro do Paço Metro station. Take the Metro (Blue Line) towards Reboleira and ride for 6 stops. Get off at the Jardim Zoológico station, which is directly connected to the zoo. Follow the signs to the zoo entrance.

From Cascais, walk to the bus stop at Avenida da República, which is a 5-minute walk from the center. Take the Bus number 403 towards Lisbon (Campo de Ourique). Stay on the bus for about 40 minutes and get off at the 'Jardim Zoológico' stop. From there, follow the signs to the zoo entrance, which is just a short walk away.

If you are already in central Cascais, you can enjoy a scenic walk along the coast to the nearest train station. Head towards the beachfront promenade, and take Avenida Dom Carlos I until you reach the Cascais train station. Once at the station, follow the 'Metro' or 'Bus' instructions mentioned above to reach Jardim Zoológico.
