From Cascais, walk to the Cascais train station, which is located in the town center. Purchase a ticket to Sintra. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Sintra station, exit the station and walk straight to the bus stop outside. Catch bus number 434, which will take you directly to the Pena Palace area. Get off at the stop 'Pena Palace' and walk up the Estrada da Pena for about 10 minutes to reach Villa Sassetti.

From the Cascais town center, you can take the Scotturb bus line 403, which goes to Sintra. The bus departs from the Cascais bus terminal. Once you arrive at Sintra, transfer to the bus number 434 towards 'Pena Palace'. Get off at the 'Pena Palace' stop and walk approximately 10 minutes up the Estrada da Pena to reach Villa Sassetti.
