Getting There

  • Train

    From Sintra, head to the Sintra train station. Buy a ticket for the Lisbon line. Board the train heading towards Lisbon (Cascais). The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lisbon Rossio station, exit the station and walk towards Praça da Figueira. From there, you can take the tram or bus to reach Rocha do Conde de Óbidos.

  • Bus

    From the Sintra bus terminal, take the bus number 403 or 417 to Lisbon. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Cais do Sodré' stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront and take tram number 15E towards Algés. Get off at the 'Rocha do Conde de Óbidos' stop, which will bring you close to your destination.

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Sintra, you can walk to the Sintra train station (approximately 15 minutes). From there, take the train to Lisbon Rossio. Once you arrive at Rossio station, exit and walk to Rua do Ouro. Follow the street until you reach Praça do Comércio, then continue towards Cais do Sodré. From there, you can take tram 15E or walk to Rocha do Conde de Óbidos, which is located near the waterfront.
