Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Sintra from your location in Estremadura. Use the A9 or A16 motorways to reach Sintra. Once in Sintra, follow the signs for Cabo da Roca, which is approximately 18 km away. Take the N247 road, following the signs towards Colares. When you reach the intersection for Estrada do Cabo da Roca, turn left. Continue along this road until you reach Cabo da Roca. Make sure to park in the designated parking areas, which may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a train from Lisbon to Sintra. The trains run frequently from Rossio Station. Upon arriving in Sintra, transfer to the bus service (Bus 403) that goes directly to Cabo da Roca. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately €5. Be mindful of the bus schedule, as it may not run frequently—especially during off-peak hours. Check the local bus schedules in advance.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you prefer a more direct route without the need for public transport schedules, consider taking a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber from Sintra to Cabo da Roca. The ride will take about 25 minutes and will cost around €20-€30, depending on traffic.
