Walking
Start from Coimbra's main train station, 'Estação Nova'. Exit the station and head towards Avenida Fernão de Magalhães. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua de Lisboa. Turn left onto Rua de Lisboa and continue walking for about 300 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach Praça da República, continue straight onto Rua da Sofia. After about 600 meters, you will reach the University of Coimbra's entrance. From there, head towards the Botanical Garden, and once you have passed the garden, look for signs directing you to 'Fonte de Eiras'. Follow these signs, and you will soon arrive at Fonte de Eiras, located at Terreiro Fonte, 3020-194 Coimbra.
Public Transportation
From the city center, you can take Bus number 34 from the 'Praça da República' bus stop. The bus will take you directly towards 'Fonte de Eiras'. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time. After about 10-15 minutes on the bus, get off at the 'Fonte de Eiras' stop. From there, walk a short distance of about 100 meters to reach the actual site, which is at Terreiro Fonte, 3020-194 Coimbra.
