Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the Coimbra city center, specifically near the Praça da República, a popular gathering place. From there, head east towards Avenida Sá da Bandeira. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Sofia. Turn right onto Rua da Sofia and walk straight until you reach the end of the street. You will pass by the University of Coimbra on your left side, which is a famous landmark. Continue walking straight as the street becomes Rua da Lapa, and then Rua do Brasil. Stay on this route until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida do Emigrante. After about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Pinhal de Marrocos on your left.
