Walking
If you are starting from the Coimbra city center, head towards the Praça da República. From there, walk straight along Rua da Sofia until you reach the iconic Arco de Almedina, a historic gateway. Continue straight on Rua Ferreira Borges until you reach the main square, Praça do Comércio. Here, you can enjoy the view of the Mondego River. Keep walking towards the river until you reach the riverside promenade. Once you are by the river, turn left and follow the promenade along the riverbank for about 15 minutes. You will see the Ponte Pedonal Pedro e Inês ahead, a beautiful pedestrian bridge with stunning views of the river and the surrounding area.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the city center, catch bus number 34 or 35 from the bus stop near the Praça da República. The bus will take you towards the northern part of the city. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Ponte Pedro e Inês'. From the bus stop, you will see the bridge directly in front of you; simply walk across the road to access the entrance to the pedestrian bridge.
