If you are at the Coimbra Train Station, exit the station and head straight towards the main road (Av. Fernão de Magalhães). Turn left on Av. Fernão de Magalhães and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the Praça da República. From there, take the Rua da Sofia which will lead you uphill.
