Take the second exit onto the Rua de Cima do Cais and continue straight. After about 1 km, turn left onto Largo Dom Luís I. Burmester will be right in front of you. There is parking available nearby, but it can be limited during peak tourist season.

To reach Burmester by public transport, take the train from Peso da Régua to Vila Nova de Gaia. The train station in Gaia is called 'Coimbra', and the journey takes about 1 hour. From the train station, exit and walk towards the Douro River. Follow the riverbank south for about 15 minutes until you reach Largo Dom Luís I. Burmester is located at this square. Look for signs to guide you along the waterfront.
