Once you arrive at the Badajoz bus station, you can either walk to Puerta del Pilar (approximately 20 minutes) by heading north on Calle de la Estación, then turning right onto Ronda del Pilar, or take a local bus (lines 1 or 3) that goes towards the city center and get off at the nearest stop to Puerta del Pilar.
