If you are near the Badajoz Cathedral (Catedral de Badajoz), head east on Calle de la Catedral towards Plaza de España. Continue straight until you reach Plaza de España. From there, take the exit towards Calle de las Tres Cruces, then turn left onto Avenida de Europa. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto Avenida de Huelva. Continue walking until you reach Plaza Reyes Católicos. The Puerta de Palmas will be on your right at Pl. Reyes Católicos, 6A.

From the Badajoz Bus Station (Estación de Autobuses), take bus line 1 towards 'Calle de la Torre.' Get off at the 'Plaza de España' stop. From there, walk towards Plaza Reyes Católicos by heading east on Calle de la Catedral, then turn left onto Avenida de Europa. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto Avenida de Huelva. Finally, walk to Pl. Reyes Católicos, 6A, where you will find the Puerta de Palmas.
