Walking
From the center of Évora, head east towards Praça do Giraldo, the main square. Once at the square, face the Igreja de São João Evangelista, which is located at Palácio Cadaval. Walk straight along Rua de Serpa Pinto until you reach the intersection with Rua do Cais. Turn left onto Rua do Cais, and then take the first right onto Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the entrance to the Igreja de São João Evangelista at Palácio Cadaval on your left.

If you are near the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Évora), take bus line 1 towards 'Universidade'. Get off at the stop 'Palácio Cadaval' which is only one stop away. From the bus stop, walk a short distance down the street and you will see the entrance to the Igreja de São João Evangelista.

If you prefer to take a taxi, you can hail one from any main square or call a taxi service. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Palácio Cadaval'. The trip should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.
