Bus
From Faro city center, head to the main bus station, 'Terminal Rodoviário de Faro', located near the marina. Take bus number 1 or 2 towards Lagoa. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Lagoa' bus stop. From there, walk towards Estrada de Benagil. It’s about a 20-minute walk. Follow the signs to Benagil and continue straight until you reach Estr. de Benagil 8400.
Train + Bus
Start at Faro train station and take a train to Lagoa. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lagoa train station, exit and catch bus number 1 or 2 that heads to Benagil. Get off at the 'Benagil' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Estr. de Benagil 8400. Follow the road signs toward the beach.
Walking
If you are near the Faro Marina, you can walk towards the bus station to catch a bus to Lagoa. Alternatively, if you're feeling adventurous and are staying in nearby towns, you could walk along the coastal paths towards Lagoa, but this may take several hours. Ensure you have a map or GPS to guide you along the coastal trails.
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app from anywhere in Faro to Estr. de Benagil 8400, Lagoa. The ride will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Just inform the driver of the destination, and they will take you directly there.
