    If you are starting from the Guimarães train station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida de São Gonçalo. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua de São Gonçalo. Follow this road for about 300 meters, and you will see the castle on your left. The entrance to Guimarães Castle is located at R. Conde Dom Henrique.

    From the City Center (Praça de Santiago), head towards the Church of São Miguel do Castelo. Walk along Rua de Gil Vicente until you reach the intersection with R. Conde Dom Henrique. Turn left onto R. Conde Dom Henrique, and after a short walk, you'll find Guimarães Castle on your right.
