Guimarães Traditional Food Tour

Fabulous introduction to local food and traditions

Our tour guide, Mateus, was just amazing. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He introduced us to some of the history of the city and Portuguese food and culture. We ate some amazing food, drank some wine and chatted and walked for about 4 hours! Would highly recommend - we had a great time!

Guimarães Medieval Walking Tour

History galore in Guimaraes and Braga

We had what turned out to be a private tour to Guimaraes and Braga with Bruno after a group canceled. We were treated to inside information by a local who knew the stories and history in both cities. We saw the Bom Jesus cathedral and grounds, had a nice lunch in Braga after seeing more sites, and were guided around the castle, palace, and old city center of Guimaraes. Such history in each place and so well preserved. Very much recommended!

Private Guimarães, Braga & Bom Jesus Tour from Porto

Jose was amazing!

Jose was amazing! He picked us up at our hotel and began the tour with lots of interesting insights about Porto as we left the city. We learned so much about Portuguese culture and he and his family as well as about the sights he was showing us on the tour! We had toured with Carlos the day before and he had alerted Jose that my mom cannot walk long distances so he did his best to accommodate her so that she did not miss anything! He planned the day around her and what we wanted to see and we had a wonderful time!
