If you are starting from the Guimarães train station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida da Condessa Mumadona. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua de São Paulo. Continue walking straight; you will pass through a small park. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Rua de João de Deus. Turn right onto Rua de João de Deus and continue until you reach Praça 25 de Abril.
