Walking
From the city center of Guimarães, head towards the Guimarães train station, which is located just north of the historic center. Once at the station, take the train to Porto, which typically runs every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival at Porto's Campanhã station, transfer to the Metro. Take the Metro Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at the Matosinhos Sul station. From there, walk towards the beach area, following signs for Praia do Molhe. It's approximately a 15-minute walk to the beach from the station.
Public Transport
Start at the Guimarães bus station, located near the historic center. Take a bus to Porto, which you can find by checking the schedules at the station. The bus ride will take around 1 hour. Once in Porto, head to the nearest Metro station, which is at Campo 24 de Agosto. Take Line A (Blue Line) and ride it to Matosinhos Sul. From Matosinhos Sul Metro station, it’s a short 15-minute walk to Praia do Molhe, following Avenida do Brasil.
