Walking
From the Guimarães city center, head towards the Praça de São Tiago square. Once you reach the square, look for the Rua de Santo António, and walk up this street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Bento. Turn left onto Rua de São Bento and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. Here, you will see the signs for the bus station. Take Bus number 1 or 2 from the bus station towards Braga. The bus ride will take around 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the Braga bus station, exit and head towards the R. do Castelo. You can use Google Maps to navigate from the bus station. The Braga Tower is located at R. do Castelo 19.
Public Transport
From the Guimarães train station, take a train towards Braga. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Braga train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located outside. Take Bus number 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Castelo' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to R. do Castelo 19, where the Braga Tower is located. Follow the signs for the castle, and you will find the tower easily.
