From the center of Lamego, start at Praça da República. Head east on Rua da Liberdade, passing by local shops and cafés. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida do Dr. Alfredo de Sousa. After about 300 meters, you will see a set of stairs leading up on your left side. This is the beginning of the path to the Escadório.
