Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Lamego, head northeast on Rua do Comércio towards Praça da República. Continue straight until you reach Praça da República. From the square, take the road that goes uphill, Rua da Liberdade. Follow this road until you reach the Igreja de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. Once you reach the church, you will see the sign for Pulmão de Lamego. The park is located just behind the church, and you can access it by walking through the small path that leads into the green area.

• Public Transport

  From Lamego's main bus station, take the local bus service towards Almacave. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Almacave. After disembarking, walk towards the Igreja de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, which is a prominent landmark. Pulmão de Lamego is located directly behind the church. Follow the signposts or the small path leading to the park.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the center of Lamego. Start at Avenida Doutor Alfredo de Sousa and head northeast towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue cycling up the hill towards the Igreja de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. Once you reach the church, you will find Pulmão de Lamego just behind it. There are bike racks available near the entrance of the park for you to secure your bicycle.
