Getting There

  From Lisbon, take the A5 motorway towards Cascais. Continue on A5 for about 30 minutes. Take exit 9 towards Cascais. Follow signs for Cascais and merge onto N247. After about 5 km, continue straight onto Avenida de Sintra. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Follow this road until you see signs for Praia Nossa Senhora da Conceicao. The beach will be on your right. There is parking available nearby, but expect to pay a fee, especially during peak season.

  From Lisbon, head to the Cais do Sodré train station. Catch the train to Cascais; trains run every 20 minutes and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cascais station, exit and walk towards the beach area. Go straight and turn right at Avenida da Liberdade. Follow the road until you reach Praia Nossa Senhora da Conceicao. The walk from the station takes approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to purchase a train ticket beforehand; prices vary but usually cost around €2.50.
