Experience Algés Beach

Getting There

  • Metro

    Start your journey by taking the Lisbon Metro from any station to the Cais do Sodré station. From Cais do Sodré, look for the signs directing you to the train station. You will need to take the train towards Cascais, which is the direction of the coast. Make sure to validate your ticket before boarding. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes.

  • Train

    Once on the train, stay on until you reach the Algés station. It’s important to keep an eye on the train stops; Algés is the third stop after Cais do Sodré. When you arrive at Algés station, exit the train and follow the signs to the station exit.

  • Walking

    After exiting the Algés train station, turn left and walk straight down Rua General Torres. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Avenida Dr. Alfredo Magalhães Ramalho. Turn right onto Avenida Dr. Alfredo Magalhães Ramalho and continue walking until you reach Algés Beach, which will be on your left. The beach is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.
