If you're near a metro station, take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Alight at the 'Rossio' station. From there, exit the metro and head east on Rua 1º de Dezembro. Continue straight until you reach the Praça do Comércio, a large square by the river. The Arco da Rua Augusta is directly in front of you, at the northern end of the square.

Board Tram 28 at any stop along its route. This iconic tram takes you through the historic neighborhoods of Lisbon. Get off at the 'Praça do Comércio' stop. As you exit, you will see the grand Arco da Rua Augusta directly ahead of you, standing at the entrance to Rua Augusta.

If you are in the Baixa district (the downtown area), head towards Rua Augusta, one of the main pedestrian streets. Walk along Rua Augusta until you reach the Arco da Rua Augusta, which is located at the end of the street, at the Praça do Comércio. Look for the large arch as a landmark as you approach.

Take any bus that stops at Praça do Comércio, such as routes 714, 728, or 759. Once you get off the bus, you will be at the square. The Arco da Rua Augusta is situated at the north end of the square, just a short walk away.
