    From central Lisbon, head to Rossio Station (Estação do Rossio), which can be reached via the Metro (Green Line to Rossio). At Rossio Station, purchase a ticket to Sintra. The train ride takes about 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Sintra Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus stop. Board the bus number 435 or 434 towards 'Centro Histórico' or 'Palácio da Pena'.

  • Bus

    If you're near Praça do Comércio, you can catch bus number 750 towards 'Campo de Ourique' to get to the Sete Rios bus station. From Sete Rios, take the bus to Sintra, which takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Sintra, you can either walk or take a local bus (number 435 or 434) to reach Freedom Park.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Sintra, from Sintra Station, you can take a scenic 20-minute walk to Freedom Park. Exit the station and head towards the main road (Av. Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rua da Vila and continue straight until you see Volta do Duche. Freedom Park will be on your right.

  • Taxi or Rideshare

    In Sintra, if you prefer not to walk, you can easily find a taxi or use a rideshare app. Tell the driver to take you to 'Volta do Duche 60'. The drive from Sintra Station to Freedom Park should only take about 5-10 minutes.
