Once at Rossio, purchase a ticket to Mafra. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Upon arriving at the Mafra train station, exit and walk towards the main road. Follow the signs towards the Mafra National Palace, which is about a 15-minute walk straight down the road.

You can take the bus from Lisbon to Mafra. Head to the Campo Grande bus terminal. You can get there by taking the Metro to Campo Grande station (Green and Yellow Lines). At the terminal, look for the bus company 'Mafrense' which provides direct services to Mafra. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mafra bus terminal, the Mafra National Palace is a short 10-minute walk away. Exit the terminal and head straight down the main road until you reach the palace.
